Regular Town Board Meeting Minutes
August 20, 2012
The regular monthly meeting of the Sugar Camp Town Board was held on Monday, June 18, 2012 at 7:30 p.m. in the Sugar Camp Town Hall.

7:30 p.m. Regular Meeting
ALL AGENDA ITEMS ARE FOR DISCUSSION & ACTION
1. Meeting called to order by Town Chairman at 7:30 p.m.
Chairman Scott Holewinski
Supervisor Otto Schoeneck
Supervisor Paul Sowinski
Clerk John Bigley
Treasurer Lisa Jolin
There were 3 Visitors
2. Verification of Agenda posting and approval of Agenda.
The agenda was posted at the Town Hall, Sugar Camp Enterprises, Lilly Bass Road and Hwy H. on August 16, 2012.
Motion: Schoeneck/Sowinski … to approve the agenda as posted. Carried
3. Approval of the minutes from the last regular monthly meeting and any special meeting not previously approved.
Motion: Schoeneck/Holewinski … to accept the Regular Meeting Minutes of May 21, 2012. Carried
4. Treasurer’s report.
Motion: Sowinski/Schoeneck … to approve the Treasurer’s reports with a July 31 2012 checking and CD account balance of $400,448.77. Carried
5. Approval of vouchers.
Motion: Schoeneck/Sowinski … to approve the vouchers of $60,862.53 as presented. Carried.
6. Public Comments: Nadine Wilson notified the Town Board that she and her husband will be posting “Found Dog” notices on the Town Notice Boards and at the ICO gas Station. This is an effort to assist pet owners in finding their lost their pets quicker. The Board felt this was a good idea.
7. Correspondences: None
8. Old Business:
Item C from July Meeting: Consider chip sealing, MACMAT sealing or other resurfacing methods to the Town Hall parking lot before repainting/stripping is done
The Board postponed action on resurfacing the parking lot and decided to proceed with the re-striping only.
9. New Business:
Consider rescheduling Board of Review and Open Book from September 17 to September 10. Open Book will run from 2:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. and Board of Review from 7:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m.
Motion: Schoeneck/Sowinski … to reschedule the Board of Review and Open Book as proposed. Carried
Consider rescheduling the September Board Meeting from September 17 to September 10 at its normal starting time, 7:30 p.m.
Motion: Schoeneck/Sowinski … to reschedule the September Board Meeting as proposed. Carried
Road Work Report:
Motion: Schoeneck/Sowinski … to accept report as presented. Carried
Town Hall Report:
Motion: Schoeneck/Sowinski … to accept report as presented. Carried
Meeting Dates: Board of Review, Budget Planning, Budget Hearing.
Other than the change in the Board of Review all other dates remained the same. With the Budget Hearing scheduled for November 19th. At 7:00 p.m.
Set next Board Meeting date.
The next board meeting will be on September 10, 2012 at 7:30 p.m
