YMCA reduces dinner price for non-golfers at Eagle River scramble

The Eagle River YMCA is having it’s annual golf outing the Tuesday after Labor Day, Sept. 4. Golfers enjoy a round of golf, followed by dinner and a raffle for $85. To encourage attendance of non-golfers, the Y has reduced the cost for guests who want dinner only.

Dinner now costs $15, and guests can enjoy the fun and camaraderie of the fund raiser-one of two major fund raisers for the Y’s Strong Kids Campaign.

“It’s a fabulous value. All you can eat, delicious food that directly benefits our local community,” said Julia John, Program Director for the Eagle River Y. “It’s a nice way for families who have only one golf-lover to join together and share this special event.”

The Y realizes economic times are not ideal and decided to reduce this cost by half to encourage community involvement and a charity spirit.

For more information, call Julia John at (715) 479-9500.
