Letter: Organizer did great job at Redikulus Dae by Hank Radeka
I just have to comment on what a great job Michelle Smith-Grage from Lattitudes did running this year’s Redikulus Dae. She filled up the empty spaces that have plagued this event for the last few years, and got the young people downtown with the young bands that played, who by the way were awesome!
It was exciting to see the crowds this year. They were probably the best downtown Rhinelander has seen in a long time. Yes, I was a vendor, and have been for 15 years, except for the last two. Michelle made an effort to get me to sign up, and boy was I glad she did.
Everything ran smoothly, and people enjoyed the variety of the sellers’ offerings. The food was great, and having the kids’ bounce house back improved things this year. Also Zach Hext did an excellent job entertaining the crowd.
Yes, I can say I am looking forward to next year’s Redikulus Dae, and hope that Michelle stays on board and does another excellent job. Kudos to you Michelle for a job well done!
