“Does Rhinelander have a Dog Catcher anymore? If not, is there anyone else to notify?”

– Lynda, Rhinelander

The Star Journal asked Bria Swartout, director of the Oneida County Humane Society and Adoption Center. Swartout responded:

“The Oneida County Humane Society Adoption Center should be contacted for any stray animals.

“If it is after hours, contact the Oneida County Sheriff’s Department, and they will call the after hour’s person to pick up the animal.”
