Pinewood Country Club to host Strong Kids Golf Scramble

The YMCA of the Northwoods is holding its Strong Kids Golf Scramble and Golf Ball Drop at Pinewood Country Club on Friday, July 20.

The fee is $85, and includes green fees, cart, lunch, dinner and prizes. The event starts at 11 a.m. with lunch and registration followed by a noon shotgun start. You’ll enjoy an afternoon of great golfing and good times finishing with dinner at 5:30 p.m.

The scramble benefits the YMCA’s Strong Kids Campaign, a program that provides financial assistance to those who would not otherwise be able to participate in Y programs.

Don’t forget about the Golf Ball Drop. Witness 600 golf balls dropping from a helicopter over the green to see if your golf ball is the winner. You have a chance of winning up to $3,000 for $10 a golf ball ticket. There is no limit on the number of tickets you can buy, and you need not be present to win.

Registration for the Golf Scramble and the purchase golf ball tickets can be made the YMCA, or call the Y at (715) 362-9622 for more information.
