UW-Stevens Point Rhinelander baseball camp coming June 28-29
UW-Stevens Point head baseball coach Pat Bloom will hold his Clutch Performance Baseball Camp June 28-29 at Hodag Park in Rhinelander.
The camp will be split into two sessions. Players age 7 to 11 will be on the field from 9 a.m to noon. Players age 12 to 16 will be on the field from 1 to 4 p.m. In the event of rain, the camp will be postponed one day to June 30.
The camp will focus on developing five-tool players, emphasizing hitting, fielding, throwing, pitching, baserunning and training. The cost of the camp is $60 per player or $50 per player if a family has multiple children take part. $10 from every registration will be donated back to the Rhinelander baseball program.
Campers are asked to bring their own glove and bat, shorts/pants, a T-shirt and a baseball cap. A helmet, batting cloves and cleats are recommended. Registration forms are available in the Rhinelander High School Activities Office.
