The Rhinelander High School cross country teams hosted the annual Hodag Invitational on Thursday, with the girls team placing second and the boys team placing third. The girls finished with 49 points, just behind team champion Lakeland’s 43 points, out of six teams in the large-school field. Three Hodag runners finished in the top 10: senior Macy Myers placed second, senior Kara Monk finished sixth, and sophomore Noelle Mayo placed ninth.
On the boys side, the Hodags placed third out of nine teams, led by two top-10 finishers. Avrom Barr finished fourth and Jackson Weinzatl placed eighth.
