The Rhinelander High School volleyball program got valuable preseason experience Saturday, participating in a multi-team scrimmage at Lakeland High School. Both the junior varsity and varsity teams saw action against Lakeland, Phillips and Three Lakes in the tune-up event. The scrimmage format featured 30-minute timed sessions against each opponent, with no official scores recorded. The informal competition provided coaches an opportunity to evaluate players and test different lineups ahead of the regular season, while giving athletes valuable court time against outside competition.
The Hodags will use the experience gained from Saturday’s scrimmage as they prepare for their upcoming regular season schedule.
