Hodag Highlights: Girls hockey

The Northland Pines girls hockey team played at the Rhinelander Ice Arena (RIA) to honor the two seniors on the team from Rhinelander. Mia Tulowitzky and Emalee Detienne were introduced between the first two periods and were on the ice with their parents. The Fox Cities Stars girls hockey team, consisting of girls from 13 different schools around Appleton, traveled to the RIA for the game. The Stars scored their first goal two minutes and 18 seconds into the game and went on to score 10 more and defeat Pines 11-0. The Pines co-op has four girls from Rhinelander playing: seniors Tulowitzky, Detienne, junior Jalyn Zadnik, and sophomore Reese Retallick.
