Hodag Highlights: Boys hockey

On Thursday, Feb. 6, the Kingsford Flivvers hockey team came to the Rhinelander Ice Arena to play the Hodags on Senior Night. All five seniors, Zach Edyvean, Karter Massey, Timber Cronauer, Nathan Cordy, and Van Tulowitzky, started for the Hodags. The first period ended with the Hodags down 1-0, and at the end of the second, the score was 4-0. In the third period, the Hodags had several chances to score but could not put the puck in the back of the net. The defense and goalie, Asher Rivord, played well and kept the Flivvers from scoring, but they could not tally a goal and lost 4-0. On Friday, the team traveled to Ashland and again came up empty, losing another game 4-0.
