Hodag baseball goes 1-1

The Rhinelander High School baseball team split a pair of games last week. On Tuesday, April 22 the Hodags defeated Tomahawk 10-3, with Dylan Vanderbunt earning the win pitching 6 innings at home. Seth Nofftz, Rowan Wiczek and Sawyer each had 3 hits in the contest.
On Thursday, the Hodags hosted Lakeland and lost 4-0. The Hodags mustered only 4 hits in the game, two of them came courtesy of sophomore Sawyer Bishop to give him 5 for the week. Conner Rappley was the starting pitcher and took the loss. Lakeland scored single runs in the 1st,2nd, 5th and 6th innings.
