Hawgs and Dawgs Football Camp

The Hodag Dome was the site of the Hawgs and Dawgs football camp held on March 8. There were four sessions beginning with the linemen camp guiding approximately 90 players in grades 6 through 12 in various offensive and defensive drills. The camp instructors included 6 linemen from the University of Wisconsin Badgers as well as some high school and college coaches.Tyler Beach, a former Badger, was with the Steelers and Titans of the NFL last season. The youth portion of the camp, for athletes in grades 1-6, overlapped with the line camp. Four former Hodag football players who are now playing in college assisted along with high school coaches. The returning Hodags were Drake Martin, Joe Fugle, Peyton Erikson, and Connor Lund.

The camp also included a Passing Academy for quarterbacks.

The last session of the day was the Perimeter Camp where players participated in drills tailored to quarterbacks, wide receivers, defensive backs, running backs and linebackers.
