Tuesday the soccer team played at Medford and won 4-3 but not without some tension as the Hodags had a 4 goal lead on 4 scores by Asher Rivord, 2 in each half. Medford scored 3 goals in the last 15 minutes but the Hodags held on for the win.
The team was hoping that momentum of the win and having defeated Merrill in Merrill the first time they met would give the Hodags a win at home against Merrill on Thursday.
Merrill scored in the 18th minute of the game and that was the scoring for the game as the Merrill Bluejays won 1-0.
