‘Story Stroll’ brings library, downtown businesses together
Star Journal Report
Staff at the Rhinelander District Library have found another way to provide Story Time during these socially-distanced times. In addition to weekly virtual storytime, families can stroll through downtown Rhinelander and read a children’s book along the way.
“Hannah’s Tall Order: An A to Z Sandwich,” by Linda Vander Heyden is the featured story, which can be read two pages at a time in the windows of 15 downtown businesses. Acting children’s librarian Denise Chojnacki said the Story Stroll is a fun collaboration between the library and local businesses.
Pages of the story can be found starting at Unique Creations on Brown Street, along with Kindred Cottage, Tom’s Drawing Board, Bucketheads, Danner’s Shoes, Best Embroideries, Big Daddy’s, Revitalist Boutique, Imaginuity, Catalyst, Hometown Pharmacy, Northland Music Center, CT Deli, Lattitudes and Diel Insurance.
