UPDATE: Vilas County lumber company employee killed on the job

The Vilas County Sheriff’s Office has released the name of the man killed Jan. 29 while working at a Northwoods lumber company. Authorities say Joshua Drinkman, 30, of Eagle River died after becoming trapped in a belt conveyor while working at Pukall Lumber Company in Arbor Vitae.
Deputies responded to Pukall Lumber Company in Arbor Vitae after receiving a 911 call approximately 7:18 a.m. Tuesday, reporting that a 30-year old male employee was trapped in one of the belt conveyors.
Vilas County Sheriff Joe Fath stated that upon arrival of the ambulance crew, it was determined the employee had died from his injuries.
No foul play is suspected. The Occupational Safety and Health Administration will reportedly be investigating the incident.
