What?s missing in the Northwoods?
The Northwoods Entrepreneurial Network (NEN) is sponsoring a free workshop and round table discussion focusing on types of businesses that have been identified as being needed in Northwoods communities. Entrepreneurs are invited to hear county economic development directors, chamber of commerce directors, downtown development executives, business outreach specialists, real estate agents and other business development professionals discuss entrepreneurial opportunities for those looking to start or expand their businesses in the Northwoods.
“While our Northwoods Entrepreneurial (Club) Network has been in existence for the past seven years, this is the first time we are connecting local entrepreneurs with a group of business development professionals to determine what type of businesses are most likely to succeed in our local communities,” said Dan Kuzlik, NEN board member.
The program will take place Wednesday, Jan. 9, on the Rhinelander campus of Nicolet College in room 207-208 of the Northwoods Center Building, beginning at 6 p.m. Although the program is free to the public, those planning to attend are asked to register for the event so a complimentary dinner and beverage can be planned.
To register for this program, contact Michelle Madl-Soehren, NEN president, at (715) 365-4492 or by e-mail at [email protected].
