The Rhinelander Area Ambassadors welcomed Jaron and Melinda Childs as the new owners of Childs Frame Co. located at 6 N Brown Street. The Childs opened the shop last summer and offer custom framing, an art gallery, some gift items, painting conservation and cleaning, and is a drop-off site for Wind Up Clock Repair by Stacy Wagler. Childs Frame Co. is open 9 a.m.-5 p.m. Tuesday through Friday and 10 a.m.-3 p.m. Saturday and can be reached at 715-369-1400.

Ambassadors visited them at 845 N Stevens Street. T & M features a full body shop for collision repairs, towing and mechanical services as well as tires and oil changes. Towing service, vehicle starts, door unlocks and more are available 24/7. The shop is open 9 a.m.-5 p.m., Monday through Friday. Call 715-401-9435 for an appointment or more information.

The Ambassadors also welcomed the Boys and Girls Club of the Northwoods at their location at Central School in Rhinelander recently. The Boys and Girls Club is open 3-6:15 p.m. Monday through Friday on school days and 7:30 a.m.-5:30 p.m. on non-school days. Cost per child to attend for the entire school year is $25 and $100 for the summer. There are scholarships available and fees may be waived in cases of financial hardship. Executive Director Abbey Smith said each day children will receive a snack, have play time, physical activities, arts and crafts, education time, team building and mentoring. County Bar and Grill, located at 4285 Cross Country Road in Rhinelander. Ashley started as a dishwasher over 10 years ago and then was a cook, waitress, bartender, general manager and now owner, after purchasing the business Aug. 23. Dorpat said the menu will remain the same and is available for dine or take out. The restaurant and bar is open 11 a.m.-9 p.m. Sunday, and Tuesday through Thursday; and 11 a.m.-10 p.m. Friday and Saturday. The telephone number is 715-362-4745.
