The School District of Rhinelander Community Education Program is offering several opportunities for community members to utilize the Ropes Course at the Cedric A. Vig Outdoor Classroom (CAVOC) this summer. The programs are “Community Ropes Course Experience,” and “Ropes Course Boot Camp for Adults.”
Challenge yourself, overcome fear, step outside of what is comfortable and challenge others to do the same with the Ropes Course Experience. This chance to experience several high ropes course elements at CAVOC. Complete an element and earn a Hodag Pin as a source of pride.
The Ropes Course Experience is for sixth grader through adult. Classes meet 5:30-8 p.m. four Wednesdays. Certified personal trainer and ropes course facilitator Tori Cihla will instruct.
The Ropes Course Boot Camp for Adults is for anyone just starting their fitness journey or looking to take it to the next level. This is a fun, unique, and effective way to maximize fitness gains in the shortest period of time. This adult adventure is great for beginners and seasoned exercisers alike. The training can be modified to each person’s ability as needed. This course meets 8-9 a.m. on four Saturdays in June and July.
