Wednesday, Sept. 9

Rhinelander Area Food Pantry: 4-7 p.m., open for no-contact distribution. Customers are not allowed in the building, and should remain in their vehicles until they can come up to the front door – one at a time – to receive their food allotment. Rhinelander District Library: 9 a.m.-1 p.m. Open with limitations. Visit rhinelanderlibrary.org for details and curbside pickup hours.

Thursday, Sept. 10

Online Storytime: 10 a.m., Rhinelander District Library Facebook page. Short, but fun-filled storytime includes a story, flannel, action rhyme and more.
Rhinelander District Library: Noon-6 p.m. Open with limitations. Visit rhinelanderlibrary.org for details and curbside pickup hours.
Line Dancing: 1:30 p.m., Hodag Park boat launch pavilion, weekly on Thursday. Bev, 715-369-0913.
Vintage Car Cruise: 7-8 p.m., meet at Shopko parking lot. Cruise through Rhinelander in your classic or “fun” vehicle with like-minded individuals. Thursdays through September. No registration.

Friday, Sept. 11

Wisconsin River Experience: 10 a.m.-2 p.m., meet at the McNaughton Bridge. Canoe or kayak down the history-filled Wisconsin River. Should have some paddling experience. $35 per person/$55 with rental. For information, trutlin@nicoletcollege.edu or 715-365-4544.

Saturday, Sept. 12

Hodag Farmers Market: 8 a.m.-1 p.m., Pioneer Park. Local produce, meat cheese, flowers. www.hodagfarmersmarket.com.
Downtown Rhinelander ChalkFest: Sept. 11-13, downtown Rhinelander. Details are being finalized. Visit the DRI’s ChalkFest Facebook page (search rhinelandercalkfest).
Cornhole Tournament: Noon, Fisher’s Resort, Bar & Grill. $30 entry fee per team of two. Payouts for first three places. Kid’s tournament at 1 p.m. (no fee). Food, raffles, beach. Proceeds benefit Rhinelander Ice Association. 715-550-0116.
Colorama Arts & Crafts Show: 9 a.m.-3 p.m., Boulder Junction Community Center. COVID-19 safety precautions will be observed; wearing of face masks appreciated. No food sold on site. Variety of wares for sale, including pottery, soap,. jewelry, fall decor, furniture. boulderjct.org.

Sunday, Sept. 13

Downtown Rhinelander ChalkFest: Sept. 11-13, downtown Rhinelander. Details are being finalized. Visit the DRI’s ChalkFest Facebook page (search rhinelandercalkfest).

Tuesday, Sept. 15

Ruby’s Pantry: 5-6:30 p.m., National Guard Armory in Rhinelander. A $20 donation yields two laundry baskets filled with food. Stay in the vehicle for this drive-thru pantry. For information, call Calvary Baptist Church, 715-362-4792.
Re-Tale Shop: 10 a.m.-2 p.m. Used books, specials buys; proceeds benefit the library. Safe shopping, COVID-19 prcedures in place. Masks required, limited customers, no children under 16 allowed. 25 Rives Street next to the library. Hosted by the Friends of the Rhinelander District Library.
