Nothing will be cooler on a hot summer night than coming on out for Music on Main Street in Boulder Junction!
Now in its 12th season, Music on Main Street will bring area musicians to the stage every Wednesday evening from 7 to 9 p.m. from June 19 through August 7.

This season’s line-up includes:

June 19 – Bmac
Brian McLaughlin has worked as a professional musician in Wisconsin for the past 25 years and is ready to bring his powerful styling and fun-filled performance to Boulder Junction. Get ready to span four decades of music – from the 1970s through today – with singer/guitarist Bmac.

June 26 – Spotlight Polka Band
The Spotlight Polka Band will get your toes a’tapping and your feet a’moving as these talented musicians with a lot of experience having fun take to the stage to perform a variety of music, but their specialty is – you guessed it, polka music. Get ready for the party!

July 3 – The Soul Inspirations featuring David Deon
This sizzling hot group will bring its fusion of hot southern soul, jazz harmony, and Latin rhythms to its performance of music that spans from a romantic croon to a bluesy wail. You won’t want to miss David Deon and The Soul Inspirations.

July 10 – The Broken Arrow Band
If you like country and classic tunes, then you’ll want to mark your calendar for this performance. The Broken Arrow Band plays all your favorites to get your dance on to – from classic county, rock, rhythm and blues from artists like the Rolling Stones and Stevie Ray Vaughn.

July 17 – Big Road
It’s a big musical world out there and Big Road will take listeners on a trip that will span everything from classic artists like the Allman Brothers, Beatles and Joe Cocker to funk (Isley Brothers), soul (James Brown), Blues (Koko Taylor, Delbert McClinton), and, yes, even a little Reggae (Bob Marley).

July 24 – Bret & Frisk
The popular and well-known duo has been performing together throughout the Midwest for the past 25 years. Their music ranges from 1950s hits to present day alternative rock and folk.

July 31 – Double Barrel
This North Central Wisconsin band is known for playing fun, high energy country music with sprinklings from other genres such as rock and pop.

August 7 – Older Budwiser
This three-piece band from Central Wisconsin is fronted by lead guitarist/singer Bryan Anderson and plays a rockin’ combination of blues and classic rock music with a little comedy thrown in for good measure.

Music on Main Street is free and open to the public. The stage is located next to Peeplelures on Main Street in Boulder Junction. There is a grassy area for sitting and dancing. Bring lawn chairs or blankets for seating. In case of inclement weather, the music will move indoors at the Boulder Junction Community Center.
