Two women face drug related charges in Forest County

Two women have been arrested and jailed in Forest County, facing potential drug charges.

The Forest County Drug Task Force received information Tuesday that the women, identified as Morningstar Skenandore, 36, of Milwaukee and Melissa H. Wade, 35, of Oneida, were allegedly selling heroin and crack cocaine on the Potawatomi Reservation.
The suspect’s vehicle was located and a traffic stop performed. A vehicle search reportedly resulted in drug paraphernalia and several packaging materials for heroin and cocaine along with a large amount of cash.
The women were taken into custody for possession of drug paraphernalia and felony bail jumping. While being searched at the jail Wade allegedly removed an item from insde her that contained 12 g of heroin, 4 g of crack cocaine and 2 g of marijuana.

Charges of possession with intent to deliver heroin and cocaine, possession of THC, possession of drug paraphernalia, felony bail jumping and bringing illegal contraband into a correctional facility have been referred to the Forest County District Attorney.
