Personal training packages at the Y

The YMCA of the Northwoods wants to dispel some workout myths this summer. It can be easy to say that a personal trainer just wouldn’t work for us. Some common excuses are, “I already workout, I don’t need a trainer,” or “I’m too ashamed of how I look to even think of going to the gym,” and of course, “It’s too expensive.”

If these sound familiar, the folks at the Y want community members to rethink their plans. Personal training can help break through plateaus, reshape bodies and as an investment in health, is it really too expensive? What good is some extra cash if poor health gets in the way of enjoying it?

“I am so happy to have trainers committed to helping implement healthy lifestyle practices into people’s everyday lives” says Stephanie Ruckheim, Senior Director of Wellness and Community Initiatives. “Our Certified Personal Trainers, Larry Sparling and Linda Rachu, will be happy to sit down with you during a free consultation to discuss personal training.”

Whether you are interested in one-on-one, semi-private (2-3 people) or group training (4-8 people), Ruckheim added that the Y has a variety of packages available to help anyone reach their fitness goals. These packages offer 3, 6 or 12 sessions that are 45 minutes in length.

For more information visit www.ymcaofthenorthwoods.org or call 715-362-9622 ext 104 and speak with Stephanie Ruckheim.
