STAR JOURNAL

This afternoon, a Rhinelander High School student got one heck of a birthday present. Senior Reese Flores was the winner of a 2004 Buick LeSabre, during the school’s Positive Behavior Interventions and Supports (PBIS) sixth annual car giveaway.

The car was donated by Rhinelander GM and refurbished by RHS students through support of PBIS and local businesses.

The car giveaway followed a day of class Olympics, hosted by the PBIS team and the RHS student council. The Olympics included team-building activities, academic awards and a lip sync competition. Area businesses donated prizes and RHS staff created gift baskets that students also won.
