Nicolet Players theater troupe cast rehearses for spring play
The cast is set and rehearsals are in full swing as the Nicolet Players ready for a seven-performance run of the Shakespeare classic, “A Midsummer Night’s Dream,” in early May.
The classic story tells the tale of four young lovers who find themselves wrapped in the dream-like arms of an enchanted forest where sprites lurk and fairies rule.
Cast members are, first row, left to right, Adam Bloom of Rhinelander, Somerset Seymer of Eagle River, Erin Bloom of Rhinelander, Josh Gustafson of Minocqua; second row, Alan Higgins, Peyton Pitterle and Anna Schwartz, all of Rhinelander; third row, Brittany Bredeson of Rhinelander, Ashley Gardner of St. Germain, Cara Dreifurst, H. Nova Kane, Jordan Keso, all of Rhinelander and Charles Lynch of Crandon; fourth row, Dave Daniels of Rhinelander, Judy Berby of Tomahawk, KC Hofer of Rhinelander, Tony Jones of Crandon, Hayden Kaehler and Steve Richardson, both of Rhinelander. Actors not pictured are Taleah O’Malley of Rhinelander and Austin Townsend of Cavour.
Performances are scheduled for 7:30 p.m., May 4, 5, 10, 11, and 12; and 2 p.m. May 6 and 13.

Beer, wine and other refreshments will be available before the performance and during the intermission.
