BOYS HOCKEY: Hodags end season in shutout loss to Eagles

RHS finishes 16-10

STAR JOURNAL REPORT

The Rhinelander High School boys hockey team wasn’t able to generate a goal Thursday night when the No. 7-sseded Hodags lost in the WIAA regional finals at No. 2-seeded Northland Pines, 10-0.

The Eagles held a 6-0 lead after the opening period and added a pair of goals in each of the next two periods.

RHS ended the year 16-10 overall, while Northland Pines will host Tuesday’s sectional semifinal against No. 3-seeded Stevens Point.
