Northwoods School of Dance to perform The Nutcracker

A classic Christmas tale will be told through music and dance once again, as the Northwoods School of Dance and the Children’s Dance Theatre will perform their interpretation of The Nutcracker Dec. 16 at the Rhinelander High School Auditorium.
Jazz, tap and hip/hop dancers, ages 3-22 will open the show with holiday favorites.
Choreographers for the two shows are Tanya Cook, Lindsey Halpern, Miriah Mannikko, Jessie Swearingen, Tanya Taylor and director Karen Cook.
Performances are at 1 p.m. and 6 p.m. Tickets, $10 for adults and $5 for children over age three are available at the door. Age three and under are free.
