Hodag grapplers lose non-conference meet at home

Rhinelander wrestling team lost three matches by forfeit and three others by pin, as the Hodags fell to the Marshfield Tigers 43-22 in a non-conference match Thursday night at home.

Ruben Guzik got the only pin of the night for Rhinelander. Tyler Olsen, Jacob DeMeyer, Alec Bess, Alec Kurtz and Colton Krueger won their matches.

182: Alec Kurtz (RH) won by major decision over Alex Brost 13-4.
195: Conner Peterson (M) pinned Trevor Knapp in 0:39.
220: Colton Krueger (RH) def. Sam Bauman 5-2.
285: A.J. Leonhardt (M) won by forfeit.
