For the second year, the James Williams Middle School (JWMS) Parent Advisory Council (PAC) is promoting the Outstanding Educator of the Month and will be featuring a staff member at this school for going above and beyond. Throughout each month, students nominate staff members who they feel should be recognized for their passion for education.

perlberg-certificateThe JWMS PAC has announced the Outstanding Educator of the Month for September.  The PAC is featuring Mrs. Tara Perlberg for her “great ways of engaging the students in learning, her kindness, and her ability to help all students in need. She takes educating to a whole new level.  Her wonderful personality rubs off on everyone.”

Here are some things the students say about Mrs. Perlberg:

“This teacher is very enthusiastic, friendly, teaches with passion and makes school fun. She is always happy.”

“She helps me do my work when I don’t understand it.”

“In homeroom, she always helps students who need help and in her math class, she is always there for her students.”

“She is kind, reasonable and makes learning fun!”

“She helps me with Math that I don’t get. She makes it easier to understand the subject.”

“She loves Math and makes all of her students love it too. She helps people learn and accepts you and encourages you to try, even if you are struggling with the topic.”

Honorable mention is given to Mr. Chris Ferge and to Mr. Dan Schoenecker. Students have responded with wonderful things about all they do to motivate and teach.
