GIRLS VOLLEYBALL: Hodags open season 3-0
The Rhinelander High School girls volleyball team opened the season at home Tuesday by winning all three of its varsity matches in the Hodag Invite. The Hodags won two straight games over Wabeno/Laona, 25-13, 25-15, then went the full three games to defeat Chequamegon, 22-25, 25-8, 15-14, before sweeping Ashland, 25-15, 25-22.
RHS, which is 3-0 in matches for the season, returns to action Thursday in a tournament at Wisconsin Dells.
