Red noses in Three Lakes
Mrs. Jacobson’s fourth grade class observed Red Nose Day May 26 by wearing red noses and red clothing to raise awareness of childhood poverty.
The students collected clothing, food and gently used toys to distribute to the Three Lakes Food Pantry and Goodwill.
Red Nose Day began 25 years ago in the UK to raise awareness of childhood poverty. The charity is run by Comic Relief who encourages people to have fun raising money to help children around the world. An estimated $1 billion has been generated globally through the event.
