Reader supports Pederson for County Board
Editor:
It gives me pleasure to endorse and recommend Carol Pederson for re-election to the position of Supervisor for District 5 of Oneida County for the coming term.
Carol has served on the county board for the past 6 years and currently serves as 2nd Vice Chair. She represents the county on five different committees, including Chair of the Social Services/Veterans Services Committee. During her tenure she has proven her understanding of the needs and concerns of her constituents in District 5 and residents of Oneida County. Her years of service have been significant and productive.
Carol is a former citizen member of the Commission on Aging & Board of Health and participated in the Senior Statesman Program in Madison; a member of Wisconsin and National Counties Association, Lake George Lake Association where she is a volunteer in the CB/CW invasive species prevention program; Hodag Snow Trails; Wild Instincts Wildlife Rehab; Northwoods Tennis Academy and the YMCA. She has lived in the Town of Pelican for the past 40+ years.
Carol not only has dedicated herself to serving her constituents in District 5 and the residents of Oneida County, but she is smart, honest, hard-working and most important, genuinely a wonderful person.
I urge you to vote on April 5th for Carol Pederson for re-election to the Oneida County Board.
Patricia Krause, Rhinelander
