Prisoner walks away from Lincoln County Jail
Albers left the Lincoln County Jail under the Huber law on Dec. 8 to speak to a job coordinator and see his probation agent.
He did not return.
On Dec. 16 the New Mexico State Police took Albers into custody. They attempted to stop a vehicle that Albers was in; he fled and resisted arrest before being taken into custody.
Albers will be extradited back to Wisconsin after completing his charges in New Mexico. He will face a local charge for fleeing custody.
