The
39th Annual Rhinelander Lions Club Fisheree will be held at the boat

landing on Boom Lake Saturday & Sunday, Feb.
14 and 15. The event runs 7 a.m. through 3 p.m. both days.

Entry tickets must be purchased in advance; there is a $10
entry fee for participants over the age of twelve. Entry rules, and boundaries
of the fisheree, are posted on the entry
tickets. At the conclusion
of the
fisheree Sunday, submitted
entry ticket stubs will be drawn for an ice
fishing shelter, and
power ice auger.

Daily prizes
for the longest Northern will be $500; second longest, $200; third, $100. Other

cash
prizes will be made for longest Walleye, Perch, Blue Gill, and Crappie,

for both Saturday and Sunday. There will also be prizes for the ‘under 11’ portion
of the tournament.

The famous Lion paddle wheel will be spinning out prizes throughout
the tournament and the Lion’s chefs will be cooking and serving food.

Additionally the Rhinelander Area Chamber of Commerce will
sponsor the first annual Flannel Face Off competition Saturday, and the YMCA’s snowshoe
race and walk will take place during the fisheree.
