Four new directors and one ongoing director were recently elected by the Lake George Association at its annual meeting. Elected were Scott Campbell, Patrick Kubeny, Tom Rischmann and Jane Sharkey. Tom Brickley was elected to another two-year term as a director.
At a subsequent meeting of the association’s board of directors last week, the following directors were elected to one-year terms as officers of the association: Rolley Woltjen, president; Jane Sharkey, vice president; Patrick Kubeny, treasurer; and Pat Krause, secretary.
“This is far and away the strongest board and slate of officers the association has ever had,” past president Chuck Faber said. “They will service the needs and aggressively pursue the goals of the association in the years ahead.” Faber will serve a two-year term on the board as past president.
The Lake George Lake Association is a non-profit organization of riparian owners and lake residents. The association’s mission is to preserve, protect and enhance the water quality, fishery and recreational and aesthetic values of Lake George for current and future generations.
