Leadership Oneida County announces selections for 2014-2015 class

The Rhinelander Area Chamber of Commerce and Oneida County UW-Extension are pleased to announce the candidates selected for the 2014-2015 class of Leadership Oneida County.  Candidates in the 2014-2015 class of Leadership Oneida County are as follows:

Brad Allen – Keller, Inc
Rod Ankrom – Calvary Baptist Church
Tim Collins – Minocqua Winter Park
Tina Elvins – Rhinelander Area Chamber of Commerce
Lynn Feldman – UW-Extension
Mitchell Ives – Ives Logging / Oneida County Board
JoAnne Lund – US Forest Service
Michelle Miller – Star Journal / Buyer’s Guide
Ashlea Olson – City of Rhinelander
Eric Schoeneck – Superior Diesel
Lauren Stephenson – WJFW Newswatch 12
Amy Vanney – Wisconsin Public Service
Pete Vanney – Nicolet Area Technical College
Jo Waltenberg – Associated Bank
Jacob Weinand – Nicolet National Bank
Cindy Wright – Peoples State Bank

Leadership Oneida County is a nine month program that cultivates and prepares leaders in Oneida County.  Candidates will begin their Leadership experience with a retreat at Treehaven Environmental Learning Center on September 24th.  The program will begin meeting monthly in October and Candidates will graduate in May 2015 at Pinewood Country Club.

Upon graduation of the program, Candidates will obtain an enhanced awareness of services and organizations within the County as well as an invigorated sense of civic responsibility and citizen involvement.  

Leadership Oneida County will inform community leaders of local resources, and will foster relationships and self-awareness of Candidate’s leadership potential. Program activities will include touring Oneida County businesses, meeting with community leaders, and completing a community service project.
