Obituary: Edwin E. Nylund
Edwin E. Nylund, 74, of Rhinelander, died Thursday, March 27, 2014, at Country Terrace. He was born May 22, 1939, in Rhinelander to Andrew and Lorena (Smith) Nylund. Ed is survived by his wife of many years, Sally Nylund; his three children, Andrew (Pamela) Nylund of Tomahawk, Edwina (Dennis) Thiel of Crandon, and Wayne (Sunnie) Nylund of Rhinelander; seven grandchildren; a great grandchild; a sister, Dawn (Thomas) Walczak of Alabama; and a brother, Lonnie (Darlene) Nylund of Wausau. He was preceded in death by two brothers. A memorial service for Ed will be held at 6 p.m. Thursday, April 3, 2014, at the Carlson Funeral Home with Chaplain John Uhlarik officiating. Visitation will be from 4 p.m. until the time of service Thursday at the funeral home. (Carlson Funeral Home)
