Obituary: Dennis Spencer

Dennis Spencer, 69, of Rhinelander, died Feb. 1, 2014 at the Wausau Aspirus Hospital. He was born Oct. 29, 1944 in Milwaukee, to Thomas and Emily (Kimbark) Spencer. Denny served with the US Navy for four years. Denny is survived by his wife, Sherry; his four sons, Steven (Janie) Spencer, Shane (Kieran) Spencer and Scott (Amy) Spencer, all of Rhinelander, and Stace (Stacy) Spencer of Lacrosse; his two step sons, Shannon Spencer of Appleton and Christopher Young of Anderson, South Carolina; his 13 grandchildren; his sister, Muriel Spencer-Tate of Chicago; other family and many friends. He was preceded in death by his parents; and his twin brother, Douglas. Visitation for Denny will be held Friday, Feb. 7, 2014 from 3 to 5 p.m. at the Carlson Funeral Home. (Carlson Funeral Home)
