Rhinelander Auto Group donates $100,000 to Kiwanis in support of Hodag Park project

Posted

The Rhinelander Kiwanis Club has made considerable progress toward its goal of providing local children with updated playground equipment and adding a splashpad at Rhinelander’s Hodag Park. Recently, Rhinelander Auto Group made one of the largest single donations in the club’s history when it pledged $100,000 for the splashpad and playground project.
“We are incredibly grateful for the generosity of the Rhinelander Auto Group,” said Brandon Karaba, Kiwanis Club of Rhinelander board member. “Their support moves us significantly closer to making this vision a reality and will have a lasting impact on children and families in our area.”
The Kiwanis Club’s playground and splash pad project is aimed at enhancing community life and providing safe, enriching opportunities for local youth.
Phase 1 of the project – construction of the splashpad – is planned for later this summer.
“This community has supported us for many years,” said Daniel Towne, owner of Rhinelander Auto Group. “We’re proud to give back in a way that helps create something meaningful for our future generations.”
Other businesses and organizations that have donated to the project include Frasier’s Plumbing, Heating and Cooling, Superior Diesel, KerberRose, Drews Dental, Northwoods Title and Oneida Title.
For more information about the project or to learn how to contribute, contact Karaba at 715-218-8139 or brandonkaraba@hotmail.com or visit the Kiwanis Facebook Page by searching for Rhinelander Kiwanis Foundation.
