Obituary: Franklin ?Frank? A. Kramer
Franklin “Frank” A. Kramer, 88, died Thursday, May 22, 2014 at home surrounded by his loving family by his side. He was born July 28, 1925 to Franklin and Helen (Middendorf) Kramer in Menominee, Michigan. Frank was drafted in the US Army serving during WWII (1943-1945) in the Battle of the Bulge. He also was in the National Guard for 10 years. Frank is survived by his wife, Laura; his children; John (Vicki), Marcia (Robert) Murray, Teresa (Richard) Grobe, Mathew, Mark (SüKran), MaryKay (John) McIlquham, and Luke (Kathleen); 11 grandchildren; four great-grandchildren; and a brother, Norbert. He was preceded in death by a brother, Bernard; and two sisters, Mary Brenger and Helen Pence. A Mass of Christian Burial will be Tuesday, May 27, 2014 at 2 p.m. at Nativity of Our Lord St. Mary’s Church with the Rev. Tom Thakadipuram officiating. Burial will follow at Nativity of Our Lord Cemetery with Military Honors.Visitation will be from noon until the time of service. (Hildebrand Russ Funeral Home)
