TENNIS
Hodag tennis took on Phillips with a few players at different spots in the roster. Helena Wisner was absent, moving Olivia Jones up to #2 doubles and the Evelyn Sawyer, Brooke Sisel duo played at #3 doubles for the first time in conference. It did not matter as no match went to 3 sets and the Hodags swept for the 7-0 win.
SWIMMING
The Hodag girls swim team opened the conference portion of the schedule hosting the Ladysmith co-op. The team was hoping to continue where they left off last year. The Hodags won all 11 events in scoring the 120-50 win.
SOCCER
Hodag soccer played their second game of the week at home against the Northland Pines Eagles on Thursday. Both teams tied their games on Tuesday and the score at the end of the first half was tied at one.
Both teams were awarded penalty kicks in the second half and converted them to goals. Pines’ penalty kick tied the game at two while the Hodags Braden Mork’s penalty kick gave the Hodags a 3-2 lead. The Hodags would score two more goals late in the game for the 5-2 win.
