Vilas County man reported missing

UPDATE: Mr. Murphy has returned home

The Vilas County Sheriff's Office is asking for the public's help to find a Phelps man missing since Sunday.

Fred J. Murphy, age 89, is described as 5-foot 9-inches, 170 pounds, with gray and white hair and beard, blue eyes. Murphy has a chocolate lab named Spud with him.

He was last seen in Phelps when he left his residence to pick up a pizza for dinner in Iron River, Mich. He reportedly did not arrive in Iron River.

Murphy was driving a 2018 blue Ford F150, license plate number 192851.
