The Rhinelander Community Foundation (RCF) has announced that it has received a $96,000 donation from Ron and Elsie Gaber to support the Ron and Elsie Gaber Grants for Greater Good Endowment Fund.
According to an RCF press release, the fund was established in 2024 to support and encourage community activities that are beneficial, valuable, and impactful to the Rhinelander area. Grants from the endowment have helped fund projects, events, and educational opportunities created through partnerships among local clubs, organizations, and agencies.
“Ron and Elsie Gaber have demonstrated an unwavering commitment to the Rhinelander community,” said Janet Jamison, RCF President. “Their generosity will help inspire collaboration, strengthen local organizations, and support projects that make a lasting difference. We are deeply grateful for their vision and their investment in the greater good of our community.”
The donation comes during a milestone year for the Foundation. In 2026, the Rhinelander Community Foundation celebrates its 10th anniversary, marking a decade of community impact, generosity, and partnership throughout the Rhinelander area.
Since its founding, RCF has awarded more than $1 million in grants and support to local organizations and initiatives, helping improve quality of life and strengthen the community for current and future generations.
The Gabers’ gift will help ensure that innovative and collaborative community projects continue to receive support for years to come, creating a lasting legacy of service and philanthropy in Rhinelander.
The Rhinelander Community Foundation is dedicated to enhancing the quality of life in the Rhinelander area by encouraging philanthropy, building charitable funds, and supporting projects that address community needs and opportunities.
