Fourth of July Parade winners announced

Organizers of the Rhinelander Fourth of July Parade have announced this year’s top-placing entries. In the main parade, entries were judged across four categories: best business, best non-profit, best general and best marching unit.
Best business honors went to Rhinelander Country Club, The Hodag Store and Hodag Country Fest. In the best non-profit category, America’s Little Miss Pageant, the Rhinelander Freemasons and the Northwoods Girl Scouts were recognized. Best general entries included Rhinelander Auto Group, Trident Maritime Systems and Pine Lake Fire Department. For best marching entry, honors went to the Rhinelander Area Food Pantry, Bruce Orthodontics and Let’s Go Fishing.
Kiddie Parade Winners
In the bikes category, Connor Ritchie took first place, followed by Claire Kopetsky in second and the team of Brynlee Hallas and Mason Wendt in third.
The trikes and scooters division saw Kallie Zierdan win first place, Jason Zierdan take second, and Aiden Barbian place third.

For costumes, Navy Jensen claimed first place, Parker Rittel finished second, while Emma Larsen and Jack Larsen placed third.
In the floats category, the team of Joey Carlson and Hazel Hoganson won first place. Milo Strupp took second, and the trio of Aspen Starr, Taylee Wulf and Brexley Wulf placed third.
The pets category drew one of the parade’s largest group entries, with first place going to a team that included Kim Boldon, Wyatt Boldon, Kyle Boldon, Amanda Boldon, Oscar Boldon, Gabe Cihlar, Anna Cihlar, Rowan Cihlar, Harvey Z., Blakely Z., Michelle Z. and Elaina Lessner. Second place went to the group of Bailey P. , Jackson P., Charlotte K. , Lorelei K. and Adeline K. No entry was awarded third place in the pets category.
