A Tomahawk man has been charged with calling in threats to a local grocery store last month.
According to court records, Nicholas P. Wolf, 26, faces two felony counts of Bomb Scares and two felony counts of Making Terrorist Threats.
The charges stem from threats that were received by Trig’s, 662 N. 4th St., Tomahawk, on Sunday, Nov. 23 and Monday, Nov. 24.
In a Facebook post, Trig’s said both calls were ultimately determined to be false alarms.
The Tomahawk Police Department (TPD) in a Tuesday, Nov. 25 release said Wolf had been identified as a suspect and was arrested as part of a multi-jurisdictional investigation. There was no continued danger to the community as of that time, according to TPD.
Wolf appeared in Lincoln County court on Monday, Dec. 1, where a $10,000 cash bond was set by Judge Galen Bayne-Allison. Under terms of the bond, Wolf cannot have contact with any Trig’s location in Wisconsin and cannot have any electronic devices, except for a phone to be used for emergencies only.
Wolf is due back in court on Monday, Dec. 22 for an adjourned initial appearance.
