Tom Thibodeau will conduct a program on servant leadership Saturday, Sept. 7, from 9 a.m. to noon.
The presentation entitled, "St Francis, a 21st Century Servant Leader," is open to the public. Doors will open at 8 a.m.
The event will be held at Holy Family Church, 8950 County Road J, Woodruff, for the convenience of all attendees.
This is another Community Event, sponsored by Marywood Franciscan Spirituality Center.
Tom Thibodeau is a member of the Viterbo University, La Crosse, faculty and a member of the graduate faculty. He has been appointed Distinguished Professor of Servant Leadership, the first person at Viterbo to hold that post.
A popular teacher and presenter, Thibodeau is the recipient of Viterbo's Teacher of the Year award. He is also the director of Viterbo's Master of Arts in Servant Leadership program.
In addition, he has served on a number of community boards and committees and is a co-founder and active community member at Place of Grace, a local Catholic Worker House.
Thibodeau is also working to establish a home in La Crosse where developmentally disabled adults can live alongside those without disabilities.
This program is for all people interested in helping build vital organizations and communities - business owners, employees, anyone in the service industry, teachers, students and retirees.
Organizations are encouraged to bring their group. There will be opportunity available for groups, during or after lunch, to meet for further discussion.
