Rhinelander High School FBLA/ DECA is gearing up for one of its largest community service events. December 13-22 the organization will be collecting Jeans for Jeans to distribute to those in need this holiday season.
Donations of gently used jeans, regardless of style or size are appreciated. Large wrapped donation boxes will be placed at RHS, JWMS, Central Intermediate, Pelican and Crescent schools, as well as at Coffee Beans, Etc. and Bath & Body Creations & Coffee Haus.
All jeans donated will go to Frederick's Place in downtown Rhinelander, and Family Resource Connections who will assist in distributing them to those in need.
Basketball fans who bring a donation to Jeans for Teens to the Jan. 6 boys basketball game against Medford will receive free admission.
Future Business Leaders of America (FBLA) and DECA are national organizations that Rhinelander High School has combined together to give students an opportunity to learn about the business world, while also learning the value of community service.
