Stevens Street-WIS 17 intersection to close temporarily

RHINELANDER – The Wisconsin Department of Transportation has announced that the WIS 17/Stevens Street intersection will be closed beginning Tuesday, May 30, for 10 days.

Traffic will not be able to access Stevens Street from WIS 17, but the highway will remain open to through traffic.
Crews will reconstruct the intersection as part of the WIS 17 project. The intersection could be closed until June 8 but could reopen earlier if work concludes before then.
