Spring clean up at Holmboe Conifer Forest

Northwoods Land Trust is seeking volunteer stewards for Friday, May 31 at Holmboe Conifer Forest State Natural Area in Rhinelander. Work, including hand-pulling evasive plants (pictured here in 2023), installing new signage and cleaning up the trails will take place 11 a.m.-2 p.m. It is recommended volunteers bring work gloves, bug spray, water and food. Holmboe Forest is at 903 Boyce Drive and parking is behind the Riverview Hall facility.
