The Hodag tennis team hosted their first conference meet of the season against Medford. The Raiders were coming off a weekend meet where they did not lose a match. The Hodags had defeated Stevens Point Pacelli 7-0 Friday and then on Saturday defeated DC Everest 5-2, Wausau East 7-0 at East and then went to Wausau West and took care of the Warriors 7-0.
The Hodags took the meet 6-1 sweeping singles and doubles at 1 and 2 to guarantee a win. The No. 3 doubles team of Jake Losch and Joseph Heck won their match and then third and fourth singles play went to three games. Leo Losch, at No. 3 singles was the only loss and it went to a third set tiebreaker. At No. 4 singles, Joey Sturzl won a three-set match.
