The Rhinelander Lions Club is once again preparing a Christmas dinner, offering a warm meal and fellowship to area residents on Christmas Day. The free community event will take place on Wednesday, Dec. 25,from 11:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. at Trig’s Deli Express Entrance, located at 232 S. Courtney Street in Rhinelander.
Community members can choose to pick up meals at the Trig’s location during the designated hours or request home delivery for those unable to travel. Home delivery requests must be submitted by Dec. 24 by calling or texting (715) 513-9755. Those requesting delivery should include their address and the number of meals needed in their message.
The Lions Club is accepting donations to help offset the costs of the dinner. Contributions can be mailed to Rhinelander Lions Club, P.O. Box 1005, Rhinelander, WI 54501, or dropped off at the Trig’s entrance on Christmas Day.
The organization extends its gratitude to Trig’s, local businesses, and community supporters who make the annual event possible.
The Lions Club is also seeking volunteers and delivery drivers to help with the Christmas dinner. Those interested in assisting can sign up online at rhinelanderlions.org/volunteer or by scanning the QR code on promotional materials distributed throughout the community.
The Rhinelander Lions Club has maintained this tradition of community service for years, ensuring that all residents have access to a hot meal and sense of belonging during the holiday season.
